About Me

I'm a graduate with a B.S. in Management Information Systems from MSOE. As part of my year abroad styduing in Germany, I also graduated with a degree from the Fachhochschule Lübeck in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Business Engineering).

Technology has always been a passion of mine and I like to dabble in many different things. I've worked for the MSOE Digital Marketing department as a camera assistant where I shot and edited a large amount of great promotional videos. During my senior year, I worked for the MSOE Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communications department managing their social media. I shoot and edit video and photo content to post on the social media channels I created for the department.

I have experience administrating Linux, mac OS, and Windows server and desktop systems. I am also familiar with Java, JavaScript, Python, C/C++, and SQL (and similar database systems). I'm passionate about technology and do my best to keep up with all facets of the industry as much as possible, especially concerning security. I'm a member of the MSOE chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), the world's largest student-run professional organization. In my sophomore year, I was elected Treasurer and kept track of organization finances and purchases. That year, we went to Chicago for the PBL National Conference, where I placed 4th in the Computer Concepts competition. This year, I placed 1st in Web Design and Computer Concepts and 2ns in Cyber Security. I plan on competing in the national conference in June - and winning.
